ORIGINS

The ZVAC_® vacuum method was designed in November 1990, and first applied in January 1991 at a leading English contract die casting company, where it continues to be used for producing top quality die castings.

ZVAC_® began its globalisation in 2001, when its originator took it to subsidiaries of Two leading Taiwan companies in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Fujian provinces. From 2004 onward, ZVAC_® began being used in Canada, USA, Colombia , Iran, Egypt and at more companies in UK other than its original one, for aluminium, magnesium zinc and brass alloys, on hot and cold chamber machines ranging from 60 to 3,200 ton lock.

In 2002, the technique was named 'vacuum4diecasting', but renamed in 2004 as ZVAC_®.
