The ZVAC_® vacuum method was designed in late 1990, and first applied in 1991 at a leading English contract die casting company, where it continues to be used for producing top quality die castings.

ZVAC_® began its globalisation in 2001, when its originator took it to subsidiaries of Taiwan companies in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Fujian provinces. From 2004 onward, ZVAC_® began being used in Canada, USA, Iran and Egypt, for aluminium, magnesium and zinc alloys, on hot and cold chamber machines ranging from 60 to 3,200 ton lock.

In 2002, the technique was named 'vacuum4diecasting', but renamed in 2004 as ZVAC_®.
